That equals about 7 Brigade Combat teams, which is what was put out would be
sent. Most to Baghdad and a couple to the Anbar Province. Most of them are
coming from the National Guard is what I am hearing. Here in Ca we were told
that the restrictions on sending NG soldiers to multiple deployments over 24
months in a 5 year period are going to be lifted, and I know that there are
two units from Ca going to Iraq next year, and we are waiting to see how
many more are going. Mine could be one of them.
