I'm pretty sure that you also get a membership in the good-ole-boy network.
Something that comes in handy from time to time, and not something you get
online, unless you need a Level Five Leprechaun to join in the battle
against the Giant Catipillar monster in your WoW guild.

Traditional college also gives you experience dealing with people socially
and a gentle introduction to the Real World, which suitcase Community
colleges and online school alike don't give.

Of course, this isn't what everyone is looking for an an education, and
everyone doesn't always need those thing, but Online and Offline Colleges
are Apples and Oranges in many many ways.
