I actually didn't say college was the exact same thing as real life, I said it was a gentle introduction to it. There is a pretty good benefit to learning over the course of 4 years how to pay your own bills and deal with real world issues without being thrust into the Real World right away.
Plenty of people do it either way and turn out just fine, however, my point was that there are other things to gain from a 4 year college that simply aren't available in an online course. Assuming you already live in the real world, and that you don't need to potential contacts that college provides you (you're established already), an online course might give you everything you need. -Cameron On 1/12/07, Dana <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Personally, I've been to four-year universities and never found them > particularly representative of real life. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Create robust enterprise, web RIAs.
