And I still say it's a dumb statement. There's no evidence that something like 
a large atomic explosion for instance would not effect climate?? 

In any case, the argument that there's no definitive proof about us causing 
global warming is a poor one, IMO. It's near impossible to reach that level of 
"proof" about a system over which we cannot remove all other effects, so to 
demand it is simply unreasonable. It's not a closed scientific system which is 
what is needed to provide "proof". We can just do our best to draw conclusions 
that are best supported by the facts as we can determine them...and the vast 
majority of scientists do feel that it supports the theory that we are a major 
contributing factor.
