An interesting way of looking at taxes there G-main! Maybe we can
segregate things so we'll know who's paying for what. Specifically.

The idea is that some of the money comes from reverting some
tax cuts. Jerry was even specific when he said which cuts. I'm
so biased, I'm like "all cuts! You don't cut taxes and increase
spending!", but I'm not a solid economist. Or even arm chair. :-/

Well, what is interesting, is: don't they get more money, just for
having more money? Isn't that how interest works? Perhaps you
could expound on interest a bit--
Considering the government controls it (something that I'm not
sure some of the founding fathers would approve of) and all.
Erp! Make that "privately Owned". FedRes ain't Fed?!?!? Fer Real?

Dude, I hate to break it to you, but we have to pay for all the stuff
we're "magically" pulling out of thin air now. Sadly, because our
system is flawed, and maybe ironically-- anyways, the "rich" were
in the best position to actually prevent such wacked-out spending,
yet everyone was so busy lining pockets with "future money", they
didn't bother. Now it's time to pay the piper (and we're ALL gonna
pay the piper for a long while, neh?) and it's all, "boo hoo, now I
gotta shift my money around so the RIS don't git me".
The bastards who can, will do so, as you stated, because they
can, BTW-- "Yes, I'd like to transfer $336.33 to my off-shore
account"-- yup, real practical there.
Ironically, the people bitching the most, are probably the ones who
will just bail with "their" money.

The attitude is what bugs me. This isn't a closed system, like
J-man pointed out. Don't like it? Get out and change it. If you've
got the kind of money that makes you worry when people mention
taxing the top X%, you've got the kind of money it takes to effect
change in the government. Sadly. Seems more about $$ than votes.

Yes, it's the attitude. It's a stereo type, obviously. Death and Taxes!
Oh know, both bad things! Sike. It's not stealing, stop thinking that.

(But the pres trying to be all powerful does mess up this whole
system-- It's supposed to be "The People". WTF happened?!?!)

Ah, good stuff. =]
