I've been reading through this post and while I agree with much that's being said, I just want to state for those of us who don't make 200,000 a year, it totally makes sense for those people to pay more taxes. If the average salary in the usa is $10 per hour how do you expect to extract enough cash out these people just scrapping to get by.
You need to make more than $20 and hour to get ahead in today's society. And there are a lot of smart people taking risks making under $20 an hour. Those making over 200,000 should have enough to kick in a little extra. I mean come on, that's $16,666 gross per month * 25% subtract the $4166 and this person still has $12,500 per month. Many of whom work just as hard as those making $10 a hour struggling.
