Some are fixed or not huge choices but the Mac Pro is a friggin BEAST!! You hot diggity Dog one of those out and it would be hard pressed to find a pc that could match it. I hear that someone saw an ad on the Apple site about some new chips being released, the ad was removed but cdnet or someone got a hold of it and it had the new Quad-Core chips in it and was touted as a gaming machine.
you can go to apple.com then to store then to mac pro then to configure to see options. http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/6994002/wo/Y837vF67Tcxl27OcBga17p5O044/2.?p=0 >Really? >Tell me more. > >I thought the MAC hardware configurations were fixed and you could not >simply drop in the latest Nvidia or ATI card as you wished.
