That isn't true, I met this one French guy once, it was all it took ;)

I've used the Mac OS line for years, that is what we had in school growing
up. I edited newspaper layouts with it. I think that was OS8 or 9, I can't
remember.

I can't afford to use OSX. At work I've been a developer and system
administrator. When I was doing ColdFusion CFStudio was all for the PC, when
they moved it to Java with the Macromedia Studio is about the same time I
moved to .NET because we wanted compiled code on the server.

We had an iMac that we used to test with. And at one company both our
graphics people had Macs, which I used from time to time.

But in my experience it hasn't been something that I would buy for the
house. It cannot do what I need. It simply can't do it. Only in the last
year or so have things like parallels and boot camp once the intel procs
started going to the Mac created the ability to run the apps I need.

I'm not going to run out and buy one because somebody claims you can do
things better with it. I need proof. I've asked how I could do my job, and
play my games and still actually use the OSX side, but nobody has come up
with an answer.

It is a valid question, why go buy one just to learn it won't do me any
good.
