Not a bit.  From what I've heard (probably wrong) AppleScript is at least a
little like Python - which is pretty damn good.

I'm sure it's fine, tho' - perhaps even great.

Personally I love WSH simply because I use JavaScript everywhere now: Flash,
AJAX, WinRunner, etc.  Being able to use it to knock off system tasks as
well is icing on the cake.

I'd whole heartedly agree that Apple is better than ever.  But then again so
is everybody else.  ;^)

The whole "they're not MS" aspect just completely turns me off however. I
like what MS has been doing lately quite a bit.
