I like some of the old commercials from the 50's and 60's.  I think you 
only have to show those commercials and copies of the tobacco documents 
that proved tobacco was harmful and the case is done.  

CEO of  Tobacco company XYZ had this report in his hand in 1960 showing 
the link between tobacco and lung cancer.  In 1962 XYZ company produced 
this advertisements stating  tobacco produced no adverse health concerns.

At the point the attorney should jump up and down hollering "Liar Liar 
pants on fire, I rest my case"


the problem I have with the law suits is where does the money go?  
Lawyers get way too much.  It's hard to quantify who should get how much 
if the proceeds go to smokers.  I think the funds should go to 
anti-smoking campaigns, County and State health providers, and provide 
free enrollment in programs to assist people who are trying to stop 
smoking.
