I have a chow. Man, she's about 9 or 10 years old now in human years. She
slowly lost her eyesight the past couple of years, not very playful anymore and
just likes to be by herself. When we take her for walks, all she does is
sniffs the ground, she's so happy just to be able to do that. She can't see
anything. She goes crazy when she hers us bring out the dog leash and I think
that's the only thing that makes her day. She doesn't really even enjoy me
scratching her head anymore, just seems disinterested. I know she's gonna die
soon, and I dunno how to prepare for it emotionally. I won't put her to sleep
tho I can't bare to do that :(

>Man this is tough. It would be so easy to just let nature take it's
>course, but I think I'm doing the right thing for him. I still feel
>guilty though as I'm looking at him right now.
