Dude we are all programmers...

Gas or Electric?
What Model?
What color was the shirt?
When does your wife get home?

If its front loader you should be able to pop the top off (removing the screws
from the lint filter) and see if the belt is off. The loud noise may have been
the guide wheels. IF so you need to replace them they are pretty cheep and
easy. The trick is the tension arm next to the motor.

Subject: Dryer question / problem.

so i go to get a shirt out of the dryer just now for an interview at 4.
i pull every thing out & notice it seems warmer in the basement then it should.

i rotate the dryer thing clockwise & then the opposite direction.
hearing pennies & crud spinning from some where.
then a lauder noise like some thing is not on gear?

i turn dryer on, but notice the drum dosnt spin.
i check breaker, every thing is fine.

feels like warm air is pumping, but drum not spinning.

i tilt dryer this way and that.
try to get it level & such, but it still dosnt rotate.

i need to fix this before my wife comes home.
but have no time..

ideas?
thanks..
