Agreed - in any complex confusing issues there are always evangelists
and, unfortunately, they usually control the debate which then drives
everyone else to extremes.

This is why I tend to gravitate towards candidates like Huckabee and
Obama.  They say things I don't like, in ways I don't like, but when
we disagree I understand their reasoning and that's something that's
never happened with Mr. Bush.
