The very first line of the wikipedia article: "Terrorism in Canada primarily consists of fundraising for terrorist attacks outside of the country." It actually lists numerous acts of international terrorism, none of which seem to be muslims attacking canada. > Maybe even typing "terrorism canada" > into Google will give you something. Hm. This piece was updated today: > http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2007/09/17/nterror317.xml That article refers, of course, to an alleged terrorist plot and not an actual attack. I've found numerous other pages that mention the LACK of terrorist attacks in Canada, and none that discuss actually acts of islamic terrorism in Canada. This page discusses acts of islamic terrorism in latin America: http://www.jamestown.org/terrorism/news/article.php?articleid=2369844 "include the March 1992 bombing of the Israeli Embassy in Buenos Aires, Argentina and the July 1994 attack against the Argentine-Israeli Mutual Association (AIMA), also in the Argentine capital, allegedly in retaliation for Israel's assassination of former Hezbollah leader Sheikh Abbas al-Musawi and his family in February 1992." Both attacks would seem to be specifically directed at Israeli's and Jews living in Argentina, and not necessarily attacks on Argentina and Argentinans. -- On a complete side note, i found Mohammed Reza Taheri-azar's attack in Chapel Hill on wikipedia's list of terrorist acts. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mohammed_Reza_Taheri-azar He drove his SUV into a crowd. He said, in his 911 call, that he did it "To punish the government of the United States for their actions around the world". To police, he ssaid he did it to "avenge the deaths or murders of Muslims around the world". During his trial, he said on camera: "I hate all Americans, and all Jews, they can all go to hell [...] Death to Israel[" And yet he was never charged with terrorism, A local kid got caught making pipe bombs and was charged with possession of a weapon of mass destruction... and yet Taheri-azar was not charged with anything relating to terrorism. Nobody even talked about it as an act of terror, when in fact that's what it was. How's that for a tangent.
