What's funny is that once again I find my political answer in the writings
of Robert Heinlein.

In Stranger in a Strange Land they have privacy "spheres".  These spheres
are recognized legally, and dictate what sphere you are in.

That's a bad description but if you've read the novel you'll know what I
mean.
