He does go in the litter box MOST of the time - just not ALL of the time. And he seems to prefer taking leaks in the downstairs sink. This isn't a matter of "he doesn't know what a litter box is for". Rather it's a matter of "he doesn't know that his furry little ass will be kicked out into the cold if he keeps pissing in my sink".
