I worked for myself for five years in England (as a C++ programmer)
and loved it. I'm working for myself again now and loving it again.
Yes, it does have pros and cons but working from home and only having
to do 20-25 hours a week to survive happily is a huge *pro*.... And my
wife agrees :)

As Dave says, there is a lot of work out there...
