I guess you can add ALGORE to the list of people who disagree with science for political purposes. There is mounting evidence that climate change has nothing to do with human activity, but since that evidence doesn't mesh with the climate change orthodoxy, it will continue to be ignored by people who want to push global warming for their own ends. Personally, I am interested in solutions that work. Wind power is great, I have high hopes for home solar in certain parts of the world, hydro can be great (or horrible, see the Three Gorges Dam in China). But all of these solutions need to be tested in the market and allowed to succeed or fail on their own merits, not through government subsidy.
