Now let's put it all together:

(1.) I'm suggesting that if the US made $100,000/year, investigating
the possibility of global warming is worth $20/year.  That ain't much.

(2.) Now, let's say I thought GW was happening without a doubt.  Then
I'd say it'd be worth about $80,000 per year or 4,000x more.
