they USED to have crinkle fries in the early 80's!!!
my friends and I used to go there all the time just to get the
crinkle fries.....

(1) CKE (Carl Karcher Enterprises, parent of Carl's Jr.) operates
Hardee's
(2) they don't have "crinkle" fries, but they do have "criss-cut"
fries
(look like waffles) and also yummy but fattening fried zucchini -
only ff
rest. I know of that does (with ranch dressing).
they've been my family's ff favorite for years.
Carl's was the first chain in CA to voluntarily go non-smoking,
plus the
first to have a fresh salad bar, and the first to have broiled
chicken
sandwiches.
