"The company that runs some 3,400 Carl's Jr. and Hardees fast-food
restaurants is merging with another food chain. CKE Restaurants Inc. will
acquire Santa Barbara Restaurant Group Inc. The transaction is structured as
a "reverse triangular merger" in which a newly formed, wholly-owned
subsidiary of CKE Restaurants will merge with and into Santa Barbara
Restaurant Group, with Santa Barbara Restaurant Group emerging as the
surviving corporation and a wholly-owned subsidiary of CKE Restaurants"

There is a world of difference between NC and CA, thats fer sure :) My high
school had a designated smoking area, right in the middle of the school
grounds, and skipping the first two weeks of school because you needed to
help get the tobacco crop harvested was excusable...
