Larry, 

Wouldn't there be an underlying psychological condition that would be
triggered by violent media (games, tv, movies, literature). Instead of
trying to research and treat the trigger, shouldn't we be looking for and
attempting to treat the underlying cause.

I've been exposed to violent music (heavy metal), violent video games (doom,
et al), violent TV shows, movies, even violent sports (martial arts,
football, boxing) since I was a teenager. I'm not a violent person, I don't
use violence as a day to day solution. I certainly wouldn't inflict the
types of acts that we're detailed in the article.  Wouldn't this indicate
that there's a difference in my brain makeup as opposed to the perpetrator
in the article?
