Larry, Wouldn't there be an underlying psychological condition that would be triggered by violent media (games, tv, movies, literature). Instead of trying to research and treat the trigger, shouldn't we be looking for and attempting to treat the underlying cause.
I've been exposed to violent music (heavy metal), violent video games (doom, et al), violent TV shows, movies, even violent sports (martial arts, football, boxing) since I was a teenager. I'm not a violent person, I don't use violence as a day to day solution. I certainly wouldn't inflict the types of acts that we're detailed in the article. Wouldn't this indicate that there's a difference in my brain makeup as opposed to the perpetrator in the article? sas -- Scott Stewart ColdFusion Developer SSTWebworks 4405 Oakshyre Way Raleigh, NC. 27616 (919) 874-6229 (home) (703) 220-2835 (cell) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;160198600;22374440;w Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:249401 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
