That's changed some with the sale of advanced ship to target missiles to Egypt. Luckally, Israel's been building some really hard core anti-missile systems but.... Maybe we want to test out the Israeli AM systems by giving lots of missiles to everyone around her and seeing if she can defend herself (Israel's usually referred to as a she in literature). It would be a perfect test of the system under fire and if Israel survives, then we have a perfect AM system (and no Arabs). If Israel doesn't, then the Arabs are happy and no more Israel which may mean more oil for us. Hypocritical, but politically feasible. As long as America comes out ahead we don't care who dies. And yes, we keep the best and biggest stuff for ourselves. I mean think of the world reaction if Israel attacked terrorists with daisy cutters? No one should be allowed to do that but us! If we want to destroy a mountain to get some terrorists, we have the right.
