who are "these people"? The very gentle woman who used to babysit Lara when she was two? Her husband? My old friends from student groups at Montgomery College?
You sound like a Jim Crow bigot. Don't get me wrong, I think there are plenty of zealots on the other side. I don't think that is all there is though, and the idea that all we can do is kill "these people" really offends me. I think "these people" were a little upset by the fact that one of the US generals used the term crusader himself. I think "these people" were a little upset by the fact that we allowed an ancient civilization to be looted by grave robbers and said "Stuff happens." Some of "these people" are just too filled with hate to talk to anymore, but a lot of them would reciprocate and begin to police their own if we ceased to be so offensive. Witness the local concerned citizens they have enlisted over there :) Oh and by the way -- I don't work 9 to 5.
