But what about the ipod is so much better than the zune? It isnt about the money either, because the zunce costs as much as an ipod... so it's definitely user preference.

You have to take off your designer hat to answer, because as a designer, I REALLY wanted an ipod, cool looking and funky and hip, until I started doing feature comparisons. That's when the zune won me over...
