I'm still not sure how I feel about Israel. Good, bad... I'm the guy with the gun. That is troubling. That we're so involved. Some of it is religious. The religious aspect, frankly, scares me. That I'm funding "stuff", concerns me. > And it's not 'cuz they're Jews', it's 'cuz them Jews are the root of our > problems, not our leader/government/whatever. Them Jews are out to control > the world or do already. Them Jews have all the money.' So Where's my money? > Where's my control of the world? It's a red herring. The real issues are less emotional. I don't subscribe to any of that BS. Social stereotypes are fun for jokes and whatnot, but that's about as far as it goes. Putting any real stock in it is, frankly, stupid. That's why I'm against "profiling". It is waaaay too easy to thwart! Provides instructions for thwarting, actually. > Money and shit? Money is quite a few steps from the top of > the list. "terrorists" is itself a "term". Maybe they're freedom fighters. (Not referring to any group here, just the term "terrorist", sorta like "cultist"-- it's relative) Although, this is a core thing here, ain't it? Are "they" really trying to just spread terror, as we're led to believe-- or are there actual reasons for why people do things? (to some extent, at least). I don't know if I agree about the "most" and "affluent" bit. I don't know for sure, but I doubt it. Again, "terrorism" meaning different things to different people. How do you count ambiguities?
