I wasn't talking about any specific "terrorists", but terrorism in general.

"We" were terrorists to The Crown, yet Freedom Fighters to "us".

I don't know if I subscribe to the bad kind of moral equivalence-- but
some type, probably.

Ha ha.

That is totally silly, and I agree 100% with the idea. You can't come
up in this world stating that you desire to take out others simply for
being "other". I'm glad Hamas didn't get "approval" to join the big
boys. They're still children.

But at the same time, there is a reason why Hamas got support, and I
don't think it was race-based. I think it's more about wanting change
or something... dumb move on their part tho, no doubt. Coulda got a
foot in the door...

So it's all rich guys strapping on explosives blow'n themselves up? Sweet!
It's that top 1% or whatever that's screwing the world. :P

I thought some of them were? Don't a lot of "terrorist" organizations
call themselves armies or fronts or whatnot?

War is hell man.

Being at war with "terror" is draconian. Nonsensical. How do you fight that?

You don't, silly! It ain't about killing folks, it's about communication.

Religion does strange stuff to people-- that, I have seen. Killing
just for being different. Guess I was mistaken on that point.

I don't think it's ever really about race tho. That's a symptom, not a cause.

But I'd be pissed if I was one side, and the other side called in
friends to help, vs. just taking me on, one on one. Maybe that's part
of it too? Maybe us helping Israel so much is actually hurting the
peace process?

Eh. I'm a pacifist, so I don't condone senseless killing at all, just
to be clear. I just don't think it's a one-sided, easy-answer-type
deal.

It hardly ever is.
