All that oil is in Basra, where the Iraqi Army is currently operating.
So do the math. And last time I checked, they were sending out somewhere
around 8 million barrels a day, so it is a start. Unfortunately Iraq is
almost a land-locked country except the port of Basra, so all that oil
that is up North has to be piped down, and unfortunately the insurgents
like to bomb the pipelines. But again since the Iraqi Army is now
showing an interest in providing security, we should be seeing more oil
come out of the country.

And speaking of providing security, well I seem to recall that we still
have the US military in Germany. We aren't there to take in the beer and
bratwurst. We are there to provide security for that part of the world.
And why are we in Japan? Because we are jonsing for sushi and geisha's?
I don't think so.
