I only like RAW onions on my cheesesteak.    And A cheesesteak comes PLAIN,
steak and cheese everywhere i went growing up and everywhere we went when i
just visited in march and february.  Perhaps FO was the style at your
neighborhood shop?

But a hoagie with anything but oil is NOT a hoagie.
