Funny you say that...I did the same thing back in NH. Ran out of bags and dog pooped right in front of a store about 200 yds from my office. I left my backpack and sweatshirt right next to the poop and ran to office to grab a bag. I figured it was enough of a "sign" to say "sorry, got caught off-guard, but I'm responsible and will brb!" When I got back, some nameless a$$ had squashed my sweatshirt into the poop on the sidewalk. While i was pretty cheesed off, and wanted to punch someone (I had literally been gone like 60 secs), I understood their anger. Needless to say, sweatshirt went into trash immediately. Was very embarrassing!
I like the paintball idea. :) I'm afraid that might start a neighborhood war tho.
