We've had clients pull that same shit with us.  Our account execs are pretty savvy and 
explained to them that it was laid out for 3 months based on a 40 hour work week.  In 
order to move up the launch date, we had to expand our work day and work week to 70 - 
80 hours which means that the developers were working 12-16 hour days and on weekends 
to get this deployed earlier for them.  Normally they wouldn't do that, but because we 
truly value their business, we were willing to make the exception, but that's not our 
normal practice.  This has some great side benefits though.  One benefit is that the 
next time we had to make changes they were much more understanding regarding the time 
it took.  Another benefit was that we now had a more educated client which makes the 
relationship stronger.  
The best benefit was we build sites for a lot of hotels and resorts and that same 
client offered the entire development team a weekend getaway to their resort.  At a 
going rate of $135+ per night, that's pretty generous.  My wife and I are going to 
take some time this summer to enjoy that little perk.

  site and adding a lot more functionality to it.  It's about a 3-4 week job.
  They signed off on it last Wednesday and called Tuesday asking why the site
  wasn't up yet!  The account manager said the guy started screaming at her
  but she told him to look at the contract he signed an the launch date was
  middle of April.  She said you could hear him feeling stupid on the phone!!

    I hate clients. Why are they so annoying?? We have a client who we are
