As I said, I would have preferred that the war had been sold on the merits,
but hey, I agree with the actual reasoning, so caveat emptor, caballero.

Here is where we part ways. No one has demonstrated what laws were broken or
treason committed. That's political talk for "we don't like this a-hole.",
which is perfectly fine in my book, but let's be clear about what we're
really saying.

Matter of opinion. I think Bill Clinton is a buffoon. An intellectual star,
but still a buffoon. Bush's Presidency has been marked by provincial
loyalty- all those Texas folks. McClellan is just the tip of the iceberg.
Harriet Meyers on the Supreme Court? Come on! John Roberts sets the standard
there, and she isn't in the same league as him.

Mind you, I have nothing against Texas, but there are 49 other states, plus
a number of territories, in the nation. A wise leader finds the best of the
best, wherever they are.
