It just seems like a double-standard. It's ok to lie to go to war,
(when there were legit' ways to go about it!) but putting spin on
global warming is unacceptable?

Not that double-standards are non-normal, but what about priorities?

I should be chanting "impeach, impeach, impeach"-- treason would never
stick, and sounds pretty far-fetched after Maureen's definition. Not
that far-fetched tho. :-P Seriously tho, were you one of the ones
chanting for impeachment over the sex-scandal with Clinton? Even if
you weren't, what about *that* double standard?

Why no fevrant calls for justice with this guy?

Well, I can see you're not all "everything's peachy" about Bush's
terms in office, so sorry for coming off so strong (there's a part of
my brain that lumps all "it hasn't been that bad" type sentiments in
together).

Look, didn't Regan deal with terrorists? Other presidents have done
other things that were questionable, yet instead of calling someone on
the carpet for the job they're actually supposed to be doing, we do it
when we're all concerned about their love-life? That's part of where
this whole "broken laws, broken laws" comes from.

In the end, I truly believe we'll find a lot worse lies went down, and
more laws were broken, during Bush's run.

I see people trying to rationalize this stuff and it's... well, a trip.

But hey, I guess I sound pretty trippy myself, at times. *cough*
