I think that having fundamentalist muslims in charge of a country means that no one is allowed to be anything but muslim and that, as previously stated the american model of seperating church and state is required to ensure the freedom of people. I think that the author of the article has the cause and effect wrong - the more the muslims are in charge, the less anyone is allowed to be anything but a fundamentalist islamic person.
