> Especially when a concert precedes the speech! ah ha hahahahahahahhahaaaaa McCain so totally pwned that speech bitchez!!!11 !one!!
when he totally told the crowd that Kid Rock was coming up so he needed to get off the stage, I was like, "NO! You totally need to stay on that stage John! I'm here to see you, and _then_ Kid Rock!" and then I was like, "Holy shit yo! He was like totally giving those bikers like, the evil eye when they wouldn't stop revving their engines for like the third time in five minutes!" Killer presidential material! And then, when he said, "when I'm president... we're gonna drill off shore and we're gonna drill now and we're gonna drill here and we're gonna drill now" I was like, "wtf? Bring on Kid Rock! wooooooooo!" *** So I watched John McCain stumble through his stump speech in the video. Verbal gaffes, repetition, and a little annoyance at the bike engines being revved towards the end there... funny how you fail to point out McCain's trouble going off (or on) teleprompter in his speeches. Only Obama has verbal gaffes? how about this gem? "when I'm president... we're gonna drill off shore and we're gonna drill now and we're gonna drill here and we're gonna drill now" real verbal acuity. And as to you point above, Let's see if I've got this right, according to you, Obama has a band play before his speech Oregon and 80,000 people (notice the right-wingers don't dispute the numbers) are only there to see the band. 200,000 Germans (again, no dispute on the numbers) are only there to see the band before Obama speaks, but John McCain *specifically* mentions getting done with his speech so Kid Rock can play and you don't suggest that maybe those 50,000 folks (I'll even give you those numbers...) are "only" there to see Kid Rock? nice with the double standard there Bruce. > > Gruss Gott wrote: >> Now THIS ^^^^ is interesting ... >> >> Because Obama, a guy who can get 80,000 Americans or 200,000 Europeans >> to show up *in person*, is certainly the one who fulfills Ike's >> leadership definition. -- will "If my life weren't funny, it would just be true; and that would just be unacceptable." - Carrie Fisher ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;203748912;27390454;j Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:265411 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
