There's one thing he can for sure reasonable change, and he's said as much: "as commander-in-chief I will set the mission - and I will be responsible for setting a mission that takes into account all of America's needs - Gen. Patraeus will be responsible for executing the mission." An actual CIC who's promising to lead the military as it was intended. THAT would be refreshing. McCain, on the other hand, has been busy saying, "I'll win this war, I know how to win wars, I've fought in wars and I know how to win wars."
