Pakistan can seriously f*** up the US. So the US isn't going to be going into Pakistan en masse anytime soon.
Pakistan isn't defenceless like Iraq was the second time around. That's why the US isn't going into Pakistan. It's also the reason why they pursued Diplomacy with North Korea (which eventually worked). Iraq was less to do with terrorism and more to do with securing the lifestyles of those in the US for the longterm. While those outside the US can look at the situation and note the injustices heaped upon the people of Iraq, other people say that Iraq is simply about Securing Resources and Survival.
