Not the same thing, not even close to the same thing. Georgia is acting inside its own internationally recognized borders, and Russia just up and invaded, by itself, without going to the UN, without consulting other nations, without making an international case for intervention. Was there a case for intervening? I think there was a good case, but that's not really the issue. The Russians didn't bother to make a case to anyone, even their own allies, they just up and invaded. > annnndddd Bush could've chosen a zillion smarter things to say rather > than look like hypocritical halfwit ... and anybody around him with > an IQ higher than rice could've told him how ridiculous he'd sound ... He needed to say something, but what he should have said was something about process, e.g. going to the UN to make a case for intervention, etc. Instead he did the cowboy thing, and that just isn't going to play internationally. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;203748912;27390454;j Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:265968 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
