I am in complete agreement that meds tend to be over-prescribed. I, personally, have found that a pseudo CT type approach, combined with numerous lifestyle changes, has kept me med free for years now. That being said, when I was first diagnosed, or when I've been in the deepest depressions, I wasn't physically capable of doing the work (and it is work) that CT requires. I was barely capable of getting out of bed on any given day. In those cases, the meds made it possible to do the work. But, I wouldn't be where I am today without having done the work. I find the SSRI's fairly scary. They have some serious withdrawal symptoms. I've tried several and I have some serious motivation to stay off them. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;203748912;27390454;j Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:266073 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
