I was just watching the news from there and the authorities are now telling people that refuse to leave, to grab a magic marker and write their SS#'s on their arms.
This isn't going to be very good ... recent footage already shows a LOT of the town flooded up to the tops of car doors and Ike isn't there yet. There's still a lot of old wooden frame houses, old Victorian, and houses built pre-1988 and are going to be like matchsticks. Charles is on hurricane alert now too (auto insurance claims) and may have to go.
