The worst one I've seen so far was reading about a commercial fisherman that didn't want to evacuate from Galveston until the water was 8 foot deep in his house and he realized that "things were serious". So he tried to outrace the oncoming storm in his speedboat and ran around. Which wouldn't have been quite so bad except that his family included not only him and his wife, but also his kids and especially his 17 year old pregnant daughter.
I can understand not wanting to evacuate. But not evacuating your pregnant teenage daughter? That's criminal.
