lol you've been saying for the past month that the economic crisis was all bush's fault. now that it fits your storyline, it's all mccain's fault?
mccain could have killed the bailout bill. he could have gone to congress and railed against the bill, and the republicans would have followed his lead. pelosi would not have had the guts to pass the bill without the republicans, and it would have died. but that wasn't the right thing to do. despite how distasteful it was, and despite the fact that killing the bill could have won him the election, mccain knew pushing the bill forward was the right thing for the country and he did it. obama, meanwhile, went into hiding and only came out when pelosi had it wrapped up. if obama is elected, that is what we are going to see- a resolute pelosi charging forward into the breach, and deliberate, passive obama following behind like her apprentice.
