Welcome to the "post W" era of politics :) Even dyed-in-the-wool liberals are saying "My god, at least McCain isn't Bush". And no matter how badly Obama wants to paint McCain as another Bush....it just aint so. There will never be another Bush (thankfully). it really is coming down, for me, to deciding which ideals I can sacrifice > for 4 years (or 8). There are thiigns from each candidate I like and some > I > don't. If you can dismiss the stupid shit, you are right....this is an election between two pretty good candidates. The problem is, so many people I talk too can't get past the stupid shit....they think Obama is a marxist or a Muslim or they think McCain is another Bush or he wants to push their grandpa down the stairs. When I tell my republican friends that I'm considering Obama, they look at me like I have a horn growing out of my head....."he's a marxist!" (Bleck!) When I tell my liberal friends that I'm considering McCain, they about have a coronary "How can you vote for Bush!!!!" (Gimme a break) Is it bad to hope that one of them fucks up today to make the decision > easier? Yes, yes it is :) -- I've wandered over half of the world But I remain an ignorant man ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;207172674;29440083;f Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:278180 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
