1992 and the following 8 years are *always* going to be embedded as some of
the suckiest years of the military since I originally joined in '82. Which
is one of many reasons I *don't* want to see another democrat in office as
long as I am serving, which just happens to be about 8 years until
retirement.
Understand that this is not my only reason for voting for McCain, but after
serving under three republican presidents (Regan, Bush and Bush) and one
democrat (Clinton), I have to say that the Republicans have the military
dialed in.

And as an aside, I was talking to my interpreters today over tea and smokes,
and all of them want McCain to win. Go figure.
