It took me quite awhile to come to terms with Obama. I was definitely suspicious of his lack of experience. The more I listened to him though, the more I liked him. His speech on race was one of the finest I've ever heard or read, hands down. If McCain had been the McCain of 2000, I would have been sorely tempted. But in the end, I think that President's should be elected based on leadership, vision and temperament. Obama won me over on those counts.
That being said, I'm still going to be anxious for some time. 1992 is still fresh in my head and I still remember being betrayed by Clinton.
