That is one of the core tenets in the Eucharist.  The Pascal Mystery in the
Eucharist is another.  Jesus as Savior is another.

My read on the Catachism is all of these are encompassed in the Eucharist,
both the act (the ascrament) and our actions of living the Eucharist
(Christ's covenant with us).
