I removed the dvr from the system and everything worked ok, no lag on the controller. It turns out there is a 1-2 second lag on the signal that goes through the dvr. So I don't have a bad ps3, which is great. I will be able to use the ps3 for watching movies right now, but will have to wait for my new plasma before I can play games, unless I want to move cables around every time I play. I'm waiting for the prices on a couple of models to drop before I buy.
When will prices be the lowest? January? When do retailers clear out older models for newer stuff? Thanks for all the help, guys.
