Absolutely - but as there IS (in my opinion) clearly a "black culture" in
the US it's much harder to determine when this is happening.

Then do so?

What I hear tends to define middle-class America as a culture.  Or
Suburbanites.  Or city-folk. Or Rednecks. Or Farmers. Or any number of
clearly existing cultural groups that may be predominantly white but are not
defined by it.

Let's put it another way: what behavior would a black person have to engage
in for you to say "he's acting white"?
