I disagree, we never gave it a chance to play out. We didn't even start with laissez faire. Banking and insurance, two of the most highly regulated industries in our country, were the hardest hit. Auto companies, the most unionized, were the next hardest hit.
Meanwhile, free-wheeling industries like tech have been dented but are still intact.
