And the state that they're in has a law (a dumb law, but a law nonetheless)
that non-profits incorporated there cannot discriminate.

The law must have sounded so good when it was being proposed: there was
probably talk about how this would keep evil bigots from hoarding resources
from people they didn't like. The position was clear: "If you're for
equality then you MUST support this bill!"

And it's a stupid law... just like the dumbass amendments to "protect the
traditional family", the stupid "academic freedom" bills being proposed
across the country and the "Patriot Act"... I mean how could you really vote
against something called "The Patriot Act"? ;^)

And it sounds like, under this law, that the NAACP would be forced rent
their facility to the Klan.

To me this really has nothing to do with Gay Marriage - it has to do with a
questionable law that allows political opponents to "stick it" to one
another. Church, gays, Klan, NAACP - it doesn't really matter WHO'S
involved here: the law is saying "if you run a business you have to cater to
those you hate."

I disagree with that (on so many levels)... but at the same time I still
find it somehow sweetly ironic that a community that is being legally
discriminated against is using the law to its clear advantage.
